Annapurna Base Camp Trekking offers the lifetime experience for the trekkers. The 11-days Annapurna Base Camp Trek trip is planned for those trekkers who would like to trek to the base camp of Annapurna but have limited time. Mt. Annapurna (8091m) is the 10th highest mountain in the world and the journey to its base camp is one of the most popular treks on earth. Like any other trip in the Annapurna region, our Annapurna Base Camp Trek also begins from Pokhara, known as the ‘Lake City’ and passes through waterfalls, beautiful villages, farmlands, rhododendron forests and amazing mountain panoramas before reaching the base of the mighty Annapurna.
Mid Sept to mid Dec and March to May is the best period for Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The climate is fine and lukewarm with terrific views. But the nights are cold and can fall to icy level in higher altitude. Winter (Dec, Jan, Feb) is also good, only the problem is cold temperature. Trekking in monsoon (June, July) will be affected by rain. The hike paths are busy for the period of mid Sept to mid Dec. If you want to keep yourself away from crowd and enjoy some alone time with nature, then taking this trip during winter (Dec., Jan., Feb.) could also be an option. However, the temperature during winter could be rude for most guests. Trekking in the summer or monsoon season (June to Aug.) will be affected by rain but the summer trek could be an advantage.
