Bhutan Short Tour
Overview
This is a short trip and can be added in your visit to Nepal. Direct flight is available from Kathmandu to Bhutan. Bhutan, the land of dzongs and monasteries, monks, majestic mountains and a rich heritage, is one of the few unexplored tourist destinations in the world. In our Bhutan Short Tour, we will visit popular Bhutanese landmarks in Paro and Thimphu. We will visit Rinpung Dzong, national museum and Kichu Lhakhang in Paro. Likewise we will visit Memorial Chorten, nunnery Temple, Bhutanese traditional painting school, folk heritage museum and many more in Thimpu. We hike to the Taksang Monastery also known as the Tigers Lair.

Day 1: Arrival and sightseeing in Paro. 2,250m
The representative of Two Brothers Trek and Expedition will receive you from airport and transfer to hotel. After taking rest for a while, we will visit Rinpung Dzong which was built in 1646 and now houses the district Monastic Body and government administrative offices of Paro Dzongkhag. We will also visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country and Drugyal Dzong. Overnight in Paro
Day 2: Paro to Thimphu 2,320m, hike to Taktsang Monastery
After breakfast, we hike for 4 -5 hours to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, which is Bhutan's most famous monastery situated at 3,180 meters. After having explored the monastery, we hike down to the valley floor and drive to Thimpu. Overnight in Thimpu
Day 3: Sightseeing in Thimphu
Today we visit Memorial Chorten, nunnery temple, mini zoo to see Takin, the national animal of Bhutan. Today, we also visit other landmarks of Thimphu including the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Bhutanese traditional painting school, folk heritage museum, the majestic Tashichho Dzong and the traditional handmade paper factory. Day 4: Final Departure
After early breakfast, we leave Thimpu for Paro airport which will take us around 1 hour. The representative of Two Brother Trek and Expedition will drop you in airport for your onwards journey.
