Rafting in Nepal

Nepal is the country of Himalayas so Nepal is also rich in water resources. The rivers in Nepal are originated from the Himalayas and they flow down to the plains through foothills. Nepal is very famous for high current white river, which is considered the best for river runners. This is why people love to raft in rivers of Nepal. You can also do Kayaking, canoeing, Bungee jumping, boating, fishing and many more in the rivers of Nepal. 

 

The best season for rafting is from October to mid December and from March to early May. We cannot do rafting during the monsoon because most of the rivers are flooded and water level will increase. Nepal government has given permission for 16 rivers for rafting and you could choose anyone as per your interest.

 

Trishuli River Rafting - 1/2 days

Rafting in the Trishuli River is one of the adventures things to do during your visit to Nepal. Trishuli River is easily accessible from Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan so you can add this trip in your Nepal tour.
