The Everest View Trek will assure the great view of the world’s tallest mountain, Mt. Everest.
The 12-days journey begins from Kathmandu with visit to UNESCO World Heritage Sites before heading to the most popular Everest region. The Everest Panorama Trek is suitable for those trekkers who do not have enough time to reach the Everest Base Camp and trekking experience but wants to see the Everest closely. The trek provides a good insight into Sherpa culture, close-up views of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam etc. Everest View Trekking is ideal for anyone who wishes to enjoy the surreal beauty of the Himalayas and Everest also enjoying the easy trek.
Mid Sept to mid Dec and March to May is the best period for the Everest View Trekking. The climate is fine and lukewarm with terrific views. But the nights are cold and can fall to icy level in higher altitude. Winter (Dec, Jan, Feb) is also good for Everest View Trekking, the only problem is cold. Trekking in monsoon (June, July) will be affected by rain. The hike paths are busy for the period of mid Sept to mid Dec and March to May. But in the duration of monsoon and winter the paths are not crowded and tourist can enjoy the most excellent views that nature has to present.
1st Day: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)
The representative of Two Brothers Trek and Expeditions will heartily welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel.You take rest and enjoy your meal in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu
2nd Day: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and trek Preparation
After breakfast, we set out for the city sightseeing to the historical monuments. You will visit UNESCO world heritage sites, which include Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Darbar Squar, Bhaktapur Darbar Square, Swayambhunath, Bouddhanath and Pashupatinath. We will give you briefing about the trekking you begin from tomorrow at hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu
3rd Day: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft): 3 - 4 hours trek
The 40 minutes flight from Kathmandu takes us to Lukla, the gateway of the Everest region. After a short briefing and introduction, we head to Phakding, exploring the views of the surrounding. Overnight at Phakding
4th Day: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft): 5 - 6 hours
The trail goes along with the Dudh Koshi River with many suspension bridges. Exploring the typical Sherpa villages, we reach the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. After we pass another village, Jorsale we reach to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Namche Bazaar
5th Day: Acclimatization Day - Namche Bazaar: (3,440m/11,284ft)
On the fourth day we take rest in Namche Bazaar to get rid of altitude sickness. Since it is the acclimatization day, we can visit the local market and hike to Thame. We also get an opportunity to explore the culture and tradition of the Sherpa people. Overnight at lodge
6th Day: Namche Bazaar to Khumjung (3,810 m/12500 ft): 4 hours
After breakfast, we trek up through Syangboche and Everest view hotel. We continue trekking to Khumjung village and enjoy the incredible beauty of mountains like Thamserku, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Ama Dablam and many more. We visit the Edmund Hillary School and Khumjung Monastery (the monastery with yeti scalp). Overnight at Khumjung
7th Day: Khumjung to Tengboche (3,870m/12694ft): 4 - 5 hours
From Khumjung the trail descends to Dudhkoshi River and passes through the beautiful villages. Crossing the rhododendron and pine forest we reach a small village of Tengboche. Tengboche monastery is the largest and beautiful monastery in Khumbu region as well as the religious center of the Sherpa people. Overnight at Tengboche
8th Day: Tengboche to Kyangjuma (3,570m/11,710ft): 4 - 5 hours
From Tengboche the trail descends to Kyangjuma via Tashinga and Sansa village. During the trek the spectacular view of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest is visible. Overnight at Kyangjuma
9th Day: Kyangjuma to Monjo (2,840m/9,315ft): 4 - 5 hours
The trail passes through a pine forest, where musk deer often graze in the early morning then you reach Namche Bazaar. After crossing the Namche Bazaar the trail descends for a while and then we walk along the Dudh Koshi River. We cross the river twice at separate locations and reach Monjo. Overnight at Monjo
10th Day: Monjo to Lukla: 5- 6 hours
From Monjo the trail descends to Chaurikharka via Phakding and Chopling villages. The half and hour climb from Chaurikharka is the final climb of the trek which takes you to Lukla. Overnight at Lukla
11th Day: Fly to Kathmandu
In the early morning flight we fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla with the Everest scenarios. From the airport, we drive to the hotel and you can spend your rest of the time as you wish or can plan for some side trip.
12th Day: Final departure
Your beautiful journey to the country of Himalayas ends today. The representative of Two Brothers Trek and Expedition will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport before 3 hours of your scheduled flight and wishes to have a safe journey.
