Sikkim and Darjeeling
Overview
Sikkim and Darjeeling lies in the base of world's third highest mountain Mt. Kangchendzonga (8586m). Sikkim was once a remote mountain kingdom which was ruled by Chogyals (Kings) but now it is a small state in northwest India. The state is one of the prominent destinations for travelers because of the Himalayan environment, Gurgling streams, snowcapped mountains, its rich culture, monasteries, flora and fauna. Sikkim is highly influenced by Buddhism so you will find more than two hundred monasteries in Sikkim.
Darjeeling was once a summer resort for the British Raj elite. It is a popular hill station situated at an altitude of 2590m. There are many places to visit in Darjeeling like tiger hill, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayas Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, Happy Valley Tea Garden, Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kalimpong
The representative of Two Brothers Trek and Expedition will receive you either from Bhadrapur Airport (Nepal Border) or Bagdogra Airport (flights connect from Delhi and Kolkata). Next, we drive to Kalimpong. Overnight in Kalimpong
Day 2: Kalimpong Sightseeing and transfer to Gangtok
After breakfast, we do some sightseeing in Kalimpong. We will visit Dello View point and Hat Bazar. There are few Tibetan Buddhist Gompas in Kalimpong as well. Next, we drive to Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok
Day 3: Sightseeing in Gangtok
Early in the morning, we make our first visit to Tashi View point about 8 km from Gangtok. From there you can enjoy the incredible view of Mt. Kangchendzonga and the Siniolchu Range. After breakfast we proceed on an exciting tour of the city. We will visit Cottage Industry and Handicraft centre, old Buddhist Monasteries and Research Institute of Tibetology. Overnight in Gangtok
Day 4: Transfer from Gangtok to Pelling
After completing the check out formalities we will transfer to Pelling. It is 120 km far from Gangtok. Pelling is a small town in western Sikkim. On the way, we will visit Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdenste Palace Ruins. Overnight in Pelling
Day 5: Khechopalri Lake
After breakfast, we visit holy Buddhist Lake, Khechopalri Lake. The lake is the foot print of Goddess Tara. After the visit to the lake, we come to the hotel for lunch. After lunch we head for Darjeeling. Pelling to Darjeeling, the drive is of 105km and will take 5hours. Overnight in Darjeeling
Day 6: Darjeeling Sightseeing
There are huge numbers of tourist places to visit in Darjeeling. Early in the morning, we visit Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft). On way back to your hotel pay visit to Ghoom monastery and Batasia Loop. After having breakfast at the hotel head towards the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre, Tea Garden, Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple. Overnight in Darjeeling
Day 7: Gangotok to Bhadrapur Airport (Nepal Border) or Bagdogra Airport
Our journey to the beautify city ends today. We will drive to either Bhadrapur Airport (Nepal Border) or Bagdogra Airport for our onwards journey.
